Geek Chic
Fashionistas constantly need to stay ahead of the latest fashion curves and keep up with the latest trends. A popular and extremely simple way to do this is by looking it all up on your smart phone. Were smart phones created for business women to easily schedule their calendars and check emails? Yes. But that doesn't mean that those who love fashion can't turn it into their own personal hand held fashion guide. The most fashionable choice of smart phones hands down, is the pink blackberry. This device has a wonderful camera that allows you to take photos of great looks and save them for later inspirations or take photos of yourself and your friends at fabulous soiree! Out on the town shopping and suddenly you're lost? No problem, if you have your blackberry in your purse. Just pull it out and look up where you are with your built-in gps system. Your lunch-date is running late? No problem, you now have numerous online fashion publications at your fingertips to keep you occupied while you wait. Sign yourself up for rss news feeds from your favorite sites and soon you will have all the best articles sent directly into the palm of your hands.
Besides reading about the trends, blackberry allows you to purchase outfits from your fav online boutiques! Next time you're invited to a sample sale during work hours, don't fret my dear. With your trusty blackberry in tow, you can keep in touch with the office world while waiting for the salesman to bring you your size stilettos.
It's no wonder they call it a "crackberry".

Sleeping Beauty

We understand it's not easy being fashionable... but we want to help you make it a tad bit easier! Just remember: no matter how good your outfit looks, if you are tired and you look like a zombie, no one will be looking at your killer outfit. Here are some tips for you so you can hit that snooze button one more time!
First, invest in silk pillowcases. These will dramatically help you keep your locks looking lush. This means you can shower at night and let your hair dry off a bit while watching your favorite TV show. Then you can go to sleep, wake up, and style as necessary.
Second, utilize the time when you are getting ready for bed. Brush your teeth in front of your closet and think of possible ensembles for the following day. While back in the bathroom and washing your face and applying lotion, keep thinking about those outfits and make a decision. Then, grab the selected articles of clothing and set them aside for the morning. Remember, a great pair of heels can save an outfit.
Another thing you can do to save yourself sometime in the morning is to sort your purses every once in a while. Go through your purses often and get rid of gum wrappers, receipts, and any other items that may have found there way in there. This will help save you time when you need to easily spot your wallet, keys, favorite lip gloss, and cell.
Try to select luxurious sleepwear and only wear them. Wear an eye mask to sleep to make sure you get a proper deep sleep. Keep your room neat and organized so it acts as your sanctuary. This help you stay calm when your schedule suddenly becomes frantically hectic.
However, we do understand that everyone has those days where they can't enough beauty sleep. Wash your face with ice cold water, the colder it is, the more it tightens your face. Put tea bags on your eyes (the caffeine wakes up your face)! Put lotion on your skin and face. No matter how rushed you are, always brush your teeth. Headbands are an easy way to make a simple pony a little less boring. Invest in a stylish hat for emergencies.
Flirting with Skirts...
What's the one of the easiest ways to dress up an old blouse? Pair it with a skirt. There are so many styles out there, it is easy to get a little overwhelmed. Try to find a versatile skirt that fits your body perfectly. Fill your closet with all different styles and fabrics. Pair them with tights or without tights. Mix them with cardigans, fancy blouses, or basic tees. Wear them with heels or with flats. Wear them with thick belts or with skinny belts. Wear them long and wear them short! Have fun with skirts!Oh, and just in case you still have your doubts on the skirt style, think about this. In the last two seasons, Blair Waldorf has yet to be seen in pants. Not even to sleep in! And who wouldn't want her kind of wardrobe?
Playing Dress Up
Like most of you stylish readers out there, I look for any occasion to dress up. I got so excited this morning when I flipped the glossy page of my calendar to see a vision of party filled December dates ahead. Of course we have party frocks that could be dusted off and re-worn... but where's the fun in that?
I couldn't help but peruse the dress section of net-a-porter. What's your holiday party style? The ever elegant lbd, a colorful frock, or a marvelous metallic?

Birds of a Feather...
We've seen them everywhere this season... and in honor of Turkey Day, we wanted to pay tribute to the bird. Recently, we saw them rising up into hats, bringing back a vintage feel. These feathered hats remind us of something our great grandmother's would wear.
What's your favorite type of feather? Ours is the peacock feather, it is so distinct and unlike any other feather. And it is just glorious to look at... period.
Here's some feather looks straight from the runway:
